What is RRB ALP?

Eligibility Criteria

  • You must have completed 10th class or ITI from a recognized board or institution.
  • You must be between 18 and 30 years of age. Age relaxation is provided for certain categories as per government rules.

Exam Pattern

The RRB ALP exam consists of two stages:

  1. First Stage CBT: This is a computer-based test that includes questions on subjects such as Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Science, and General Awareness. The duration of the exam is 60 minutes.
  2. Second Stage CBT: This is also a computer-based test that includes questions on subjects such as Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, Basic Science and Engineering, and General Awareness. The duration of the exam is 120 minutes.

How to Prepare for RRB ALP?

Here are some tips to help you prepare for the RRB ALP exam:

  1. Understand the Syllabus: Familiarize yourself with the exam syllabus and make a study plan accordingly.
  2. Practice Previous Year Question Papers: Solve previous year question papers to get an idea of the exam pattern and the types of questions asked.
  3. Take Mock Tests: Practice mock tests to improve your time management and identify your weak areas.
  4. Stay Updated: Keep yourself updated with the latest news and current affairs, as they are an important part of the General Awareness section.

Admit Card and Result

Once the application process is complete, the Railway Recruitment Board will release the admit card for the RRB ALP exam. You can download the admit card from the official website of the respective RRB region.

After the exam, the RRB will announce the result on its official website. You can check your result by entering your roll number and other required details.
